MSU : EDUCATION : TRAINING CENTERS OF MSU : Radar Trainer NMS -90

Radar Trainer ( RD ) NMS -90 was installed in December 1988 on the Department of Vessel Management ( act of installation from December 15, 1988 ).

Radar Trainer includes 6 bridges for 12-18 students , exercise analysis class with video system BARCO DATA - 400, instructors remote control. RT has the possibility to simulate 6 different ship models of 3500 - 250000 tons displacement and the possibility to realize different tasks of ship navigation in difficult conditions of navigation. There are some parts of the World Ocean specially for this purpose.

RT NMS - 90 is certified by “Morsvayaz'sputnik” to prepare such specialists:

• radar observer

• operator

• pilot

This program trained 1200 students of MSU, 200 students of Vladivostok Sea Colledge, 100 representatives of other companies.

Using this trainer in academic process replies all requirements of national sets of documents.
