A: I think it’s very important. We live in the maritime city, and we are in the Maritime University; therefore, the building faces should be in tune with the sea theme.

Q: What is more important to you: beauty or functionality of the buildings?
A: Beauty is of great importance for every person, particularly when it comes to the buildings that will last long. Without doubt, it will influence the University prestige. As to functionality, replacement of the windows and making building faces cold proof will provide comfort to the academic buildings and dormitories situated on the shore of the Amursky Bay where strong winds blow.
