The interview with rector of MSU named after adm. G.I. Nevelskoi Seduikh V.I. to “Literaturnaya gazeta”

In December 2002 the VII Congress of Rector of Russian Universities will be held in Russia. This Congress is organized in order to define the ways of educational system development in Russia. The correspondent of "Literaturnaya Gazeta" asked some questions the Rector of MSU named after adm. G.I. Nevelskoi Seduikh V.I., who is also the chairman of Rector Union in Primorskyi Region.

The student of MSU Semen Zhidkov is the world champion

The Student of MSU Semen Zhidkov is the World Champion The World Championship of Kickboxing was held in Budva-Podgoritsa, Yugoslavia from 17th till 23d of September. 20 countries participated in this competition. There were 60 members in Russian team. The student of MSU Semen Zhidkov, Master of Sports , was in our team.

International conference “Sea ecology – 2002”

From 16th till 18th of October MSU will hold the International Conference "Sea Ecology - 2002". The conference will be opened on October 16th at 1 p:m, Stanukovicha Street 66, building 10, 2nd floor, International Department of MSU named after adm. G.I. Nevelskoi.

Happy birthday, university!

On the 2nd of October the MSU celebrated it’s first anniversary, when the Far Eastern State Maritime Academy got the status of Maritime University named after adm. G.I. Nevelskoi. Nowadays MSU is the unique maritime university in Russia. There are some new departments, 9 Institutes, 10 Faculties of 38 specialities within these institutes. This day students of the university have marched in front of the university officials.
