Oriental day in the institute of Eastern Asia

The Institute of Eastern Asia in the Marine State University named after adm. G.I. Nevelskoi celebrated the holiday, Oriental Day. The Head of the Institute Natalia N. Kus’menko met guests. The Institute arranged the Art Exhibition of Korea, Japan and China. It presented idols of oriental countries, dolls, kids toys and traditional clothes.

Young sport masters of international class

There is a very pleasant event in the sport life of Maritime State University named after adm. G.I. Nevelskoi. The first year student Andrei Sunitsa and a pupil of Lyceum class of MSU Uryi Litvinenko have got the Honoured Title “Master of Sport of International Class”. They have been going in for ship modeling sport since childhood. This year in August they took part in Europe Championship and won gold medals in their groups.

Sea training is a serious business!

There was the International Conference of Education and Professional Training of Sailors in Shanghai (China). There were delegations from 25 countries, England, Germany, Sweden, Australia, India and others. Russia was represented by Maritime State University named after adm. G.I. Nevelskoi.
