News for march, 2004 March 29, 2004Day of open doors at Maritime state university On 29 March the Day of Open Doors was held in all the Institutes of the University. The applicants and their parents and friends gathered in the Assembly Hall to learn about the University and to see a concert performed by the MSU cadets and students. She visited 30 ports of 20 countries including Russia.

On 28 March the “Nadezhda” is coming back to her native port of Vladivostok. The meeting will be held at the berth of the Maritime Terminal at 14 hours.

The training ship of the Maritime State University named after admiral G.I.Nevelskoy is to return after her round-the-world voyage to her native port of Vladivostok on the last days of March.

Maksyatkin “Cadets of War-Time Voyages on Land-Lease”, prose on the cadets’ life V.Gusarov “Without Altering Course” and a bibliographical reference-book by V.Veryovkin “Nevelskoy FEHEMC-FESMA-MSU Professors”.

They studied here five years and a half, including studies, shipboard training and leaves. Sixteen of them defended their graduation papers in English (thanks to assistance of the Maritime English Department.
