Press Service of the Maritime State University | more |   August 25, 2004Born in Tygda From 22 to 25 August a group of schoolchildren from Tygda (Amur Region) came to Vladivostok on the invitation of Rector of the Maritime State University V.I.Sedykh who comes from that village and graduated from the same school they are studying at.
They were 15 (13 boys and two girls) accompanied by two teachers. They are in 9-11 forms. They were in a big city for the first time and never saw the sea before. They will hold a training seminar for teachers "Elaboration of mechanisms of raising effectiveness of interconfessional and interethnic dialogue".

Press Service of the Maritime State University   August 12, 2004Victor Shokhin and his heroes Yesterday a photo exhibition "Heroes of our time" opened in the Arsenyev Museum. Its author is Victor Shokhin, a professional photographer, video operator and member of the Russia’s Union of Photo Artists.
He presented the best photos that he took during the last year.
Victor Shokhin contributes to the Maritime University newspaper "Meridian".

Well-known MSU skippers Vladimir Gamaniv, Garik stepanyan, Alexey Mikhailov, Yuri Sayapin and other sportsmen confirmed their high class once again: the Cup made according to Fyodor Konyukhov’s design in 1981 was handed to the team of the Maritime State University.
