News for july, 2005 July 8, 2005They made a voyage together When the sailcraft "Nadezhda" made a round-the-world voyage, the MSU cadets had their shipboard training aboard together with a group of cadets of the Pacific Naval Institute named after Admiral S.O.Makarov. In this connection ships carrying trainees of marine education institutions of Japan, Korea and China call at Vladivostok. Those voyages are shipboard training for them, which includes visiting marine higher education institutions of Vladivostok.
Press Service of the Maritime State University | more |   July 6, 2005Graduates at the marine college A traditional and at the same time exciting ceremony took place at the Marine College of the Maritime State University - handing graduation certificates to the graduates of the Navigation and Engineering Departments. The leadership of the Marine College is satisfied with these graduates. Two cadets (Roman Kulik and Mikhail Pyshny) were rewarded with honors degrees, nine passed their state examinations excellently. All of them will be remembered well.

Acting Deputy Chief in charge of educational work of the MSU Marine College | more |   July 6, 2005Vladexpo-2005 When Vladivostok was celebrating its 145th anniversary, an International Exhibition-cum-Fair "Vladexpo-2005" was held. 85 businesses, companies and firms from various Russian regions and from abroad showed their products there. The MSU also took part in the Exhibition demonstrating there products of research and educational activities. Numerous advertising leaflets told visitors about research developments in the sphere of ecology, power engineering and ship repairing. Cadets and students of the Maritime State University took an active part in the festive demonstration timed to the event.
