Dialogue with MOL continues

The MSU cooperation with the Japanese shipping company ’Mitsui O.S.K.Lines’ (MOL). Of late the MOL signed an agreement with the MSU on training seafarers for manning their ships.

Mayor visited the maritime state university

On 30 January Vladivostok Mayor Vladimir Nikolayev visited the MSU named after Admiral G.I.Nevelskoy where he met with the staff, cadets and students. The Mayor pointed out that that there are positive changes in the economic life of the city.

The first circumnavigation under sails in the third millennium tuend three

25 January, 2003. In the port of Vladivostok all are seeing off the new sailing ship ’Nadezhda” to the first circumnavigation of the third millennium. Everything repeats - because this is how ships are leaving for their great voyages.

Our rector has been recognized as the best patron of art

The “Literary Russia” newspaper has been arranging a contest among heads of the units of the Russian Federation, captains of our industry and financiers who made a noticeable contribution to cultural literary and art development. One of them is Vyacheslav Ivanovich Sedykh, Rector of the Maritime State University named after Admiral G.I.Nevelskoy, who has been awarded with a title of the Best Patron of Art for organizing annual Days of Slavic Written Language and Culture in the Far East and for active support of the popular publishing program “New Book”.
