Invitation to the Sea Festival

Guests from the Republic of Korea visited the Maritime State University named after admiral G.I.Nevelskoy. President of Sailing Association Chang Che Ho, representative of Iosu Port Administration Lee Huon Chan, Koreana sailing ship master Chhyo Iang Suk and officer Chhyo Vonok handed the MSU administration an invitation for the training sailcraft Nadehda to take part in the International Tall Ships Festival that will be held in the port Iosu (the Republic of Korea) on 2-7 May, 2007.

Eternal Moral Principles

Who should teach the young eternal moral principles? I think every not indifferent person should do it. Members of the MSU Literary Studio “Sails” decided that nursery school children should be taught to do good, then school children and then students of universities. Today’s young people’s moral and educational foundation is questionable.

A New Photo Exhibition

In addition to the main exposition on the Nadezhda circumnavigation in 2003-2004, the MSU Museum opened a new revolving photo exhibition of 48 quite large photographs showing the brightest and most spectacular moments of our frigate’s stay in 23 countries of the world during her round-the-world voyage. All the photographs are supplied with captions. There are also national and local emblems and flags of the countries and some ports where the Nadezhda called.
