Professor V.M.Datsun, Dr. of Engineering, Dean, TF | more |   December 18, 2007English Language WeekMaritime English Dept is delighted to announce the English Language Week which the Department has been organizing for many years with a substantial contribution on the part of both navigating and engineering cadets in late December. The non-coincidence in the Navigation Faculty and Marine Engineering Faculty curricula have caused the Week’s activities to be held at different time (from Dec 17 till Dec 21 for navigating cadets, and from Dec 24 till Dec 28 for engineering cadets), but that might be all to the good as there’ll be a chance to enjoy ELW twice this year. The ELW-2007 will provide the cadets with a fascinating opportunity to master their language skills in the form of games and contests, to have real fun. The activities planned are as follows: quizzes, contests, Olympiads, etc.
The particular events’ time and venue will be available in the schedule to be displayed at the Maritime English Dept, and Dean’s Offices (Navigation Faculty & Marine Engineering Faculty).
We would be happy to see anyone interested attending the ELW-2007 events.
