DEAR PARTICIPANT OF THE 3RD INTERNATIONAL
RESEARCH AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE “MARINE ECOLOGY 2005”
The Conference is aimed at uniting efforts of research and public circles to tackle problems of protecting and preserving shoreland and marine environment against negative consequences of anthropogenic activities and at drawing public attention to the ecological state of the Far Eastern seas.
Information presented in this manual offers you all the data required for successful participation at the Conference.

Terms of participation:
To take part in the Conference, you should send to the Organizing Committee:
- An application form (enclosed).
- Electronic version of your report (to be presented on a diskette or forwarded by e-mail).
- A copy of a payment order.
Materials of the Conference will be published and handed to the Conference participants during the latter's registration. No materials are published if advance payment has not been made. Not more than two reports are accepted from one author (including co-authorship).
Cost of participation in the Conference:
For Russian commercial organizations: RR3,000;
For foreign organizations: USD200;
For Russian higher education institutions and research organizations: RR800.
The registration fee includes:
- Attendance of all the Conference sessions, speech, presentation, report (15 min.)
- Publication of the report in the Conference Proceedings (up to 6 pages)
- Receipt of a “participant's pack” including a copy of the Conference Proceedings, a name badge, a conference program, pen and notebook.
- Hotel reservations
- Coffee breaks
- Business center services (photocopies, phone and Internet)
Participation in the Conference by correspondence:
For Russian commercial organizations: RR1,500;
For foreign organizations: USD100;
For Russian higher education institutions and research organizations: RR400.
The registration fee includes:
- Publication of a report in the Conference Proceedings (up to 6 pages)
- Receipt of a copy of the Conference Proceedings
Organizing matters:
An application form, texts of reports and a copy of payment order are to be sent to the Organizing Committee before July 25, 2005.
The registration fee is to be remitted to the account of the Conference financial operator.
