Ladies and gentlemen,

Maritime State University named after Admiral G.I. Nevelskoy invites you and representatives of your Company to take part in the International Specialized Exhibition "Oil spill response equipment and technologies, means of fire fighting" and in the Conference "Marine Ecology 2005" to be held within the framework of the Exhibition. The first similar Russian and CIS specialized exhibition was held in September 2004 in Moscow and aroused great interest of specialists.

The Russian Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Emergencies will be sponsoring the Exhibition and Conference.

Among those invited to participate are the leading officials of the Basin Emergency and Rescue departments of the Russian Ministry of Transport, of the Regional Centers and Chief Boards of Civil Defense and Emergencies in the Russian Federation territories, as well as the representatives of all major oil companies, sea ports, oil refineries, companies engaged in oil and petrochemical transportation, environmental agencies, higher educational institutions, design research organizations whose activities are connected with the problems in question.

We are planning to attract foreign companies as exhibitors and participants of the Conference and Exhibition.

The Exhibition program includes demonstrations of:

  • the latest technological means of fire-prevention and fire-fighting on the objects of oil and gas complex;
  • emergency and rescue equipment;
  • means of containing, skimming and combating oil and petrochemical spills;
  • means of ensuring safety of the oil and gas complex;
  • working clothing and personal protective equipment;
  • means of processing and utilizing oil and petrochemicals skimmed.
