Sea Protection Institute

The Institute of Sea Protection was established on December 1, 2001 on the base of the Center on Assessing and Preventing Aftermath of Technology-Caused Processes. As a substructure of the G.I.Nevelskoy MSU the Institute is engaged in education and research activities.

The Institute holds research and practical seminars and conferences on problems of marine environment safeguarding from oil pollution, modern state and prospects of developing satellite navigation cartography systems are being studied here, modern information technologies are being introduced and ecology problems of the Far Eastern seas are being investigated.
