Maritime State University named after Admiral G.I. Nevelskoy. Main Building

Directorís Address

In 2005 in compliance with the Russian Federation Law the Institute for International Education for foreign students was established at the Maritime State University named after Admiral G.I. Nevelskoy (MSU).
The director of MSUís Institute for International Education is BOYKO Natalia Yurievna, Ph.D. She is the founder of the educational course training system in Russian as a Foreign Language in the Russian Far East. Dr. Boyko also organized the first educational and research school for Russian studies in Vladivostok. This School has been operational since 1990.
The faculty members of MSUís Institute for International Education are highly qualified instructors with diverse experience in teaching students from Asia-Pacific and European countries. The instructors are the participants of MAPRYAL (International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature) and FEELTA (Far Eastern Association of English Language Teachers). The instructors are holders of the national Certificate allowing them to be the examiners of Russian as a Foreign Language.
The high quality of instruction is based on more than fifteen yearsí experience in working with overseas students, advanced technology, workshops, methodology with the support of leading Russian educational centers, i.e. Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, State Institute of the Russian Language named after A.S. Pushkin, the Russian University of Peopleís Friendship.
MSUís offers not only high caliber university education but also comfortable accommodations at a reasonable price, a unique location on the coast of the Golden Horn Bay and close proximity to the countries of the Pacific Rim. These make it outstanding venue for study, tourism and marine science.
