The high level of innovative projects of the youth of the University was noted in the semifinals of the competition UMNIK

On October 14, at the Maritime University, the semi-final of the qualifying round of the UMNIK program was held, organized by the center for the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel in conjunction with the Fund for the Promotion of Innovations.

In his welcoming speech, Mikhail Kholosha, assistant to the rector for scientific work, noted that today new opportunities for young innovators are opening up in the field of youth entrepreneurship, which provide growth prospects and contribute to the transformation of creative ideas into innovative products, programs and devices.

A group of experts was formed to conduct an examination of projects in the H1 directions announced for the semifinals: H1. Digital technology and H4. New devices and intelligent manufacturing technologies.

Young researchers presented 9 innovative scientific and technical projects, of which 3 projects were prepared by graduate students of the University, and 6 by students.

The contestants were able to adequately present their projects and sensibly answer all the questions of the members of the commission. The experts noted that the scientific level of young scientists of the university had increased, and the quality of the presentations had improved.

The guys are eagerly awaiting the results of the impersonal examination of the Fund for the Promotion of Innovations.
