Medals, diplomas and cash prizes awarded to the winners of the championship

On December 23, a solemn ceremony of presenting awards to the winners of the VII Open Regional Championship of the Primorsky Territory WorldSkills Russia in the competence Life safety on board was held in the assembly hall of the Far Eastern Maritime Training Center of ANMSU.

The competence of Life safety on board was presented at the regional championship for the first time. Five teams participated in four modules: survival at sea in case of abandonment of the vessel, fighting fire and extinguishing a fire, fighting for unsinkability, and taking immediate measures in case of an accident or other situation requiring medical attention.

Before the start of the ceremony, Rector Denis Burov noted that the competition of future sailors in the competence Life safety on board is very important for the Primorsky Territory and the regional government will do everything possible to support it, especially since the introduction of the Far Eastern Maritime Training Center has significantly facilitated their implementation.

The team of the Vladivostok Marine Fisheries College of Dalrybvtuz received diplomas and medals for the third place.

The team of the ANMSU Maritime Engineering College took the second place in the competition.

And, finally, the winning team, representing the Faculty of Secondary Professional Education of the S.O. Makarov Pacific Higher Naval School went up to the stage. All the team members were awarded medals, diplomas and cash prizes of RUR 50 thousand each, including expert Alexander Tikhonov.

This year, within the framework of the VII Open Regional Championship of the Primorsky Territory WorldSkills Russia, 3rd year student of the specialty Information Systems of the ANMSU Maritime Engineering College Danil Ilyin took part in the competence IT solutions for business on the 1C platform: enterprise and took first place. Danil was awarded a diploma, medal and prize of RUR 50 thousand. The same prize of 50 thousand was received by his mentor Maxim Kosov. Danil Ilyin joined the national team of the Primorsky Territory to participate in the final of the National Championship WorldSkills Russia to be held in Saransk in May 2022.

The event was held within the framework of the regional project «Young Professionals» of the National Project «Education», designed to modernize professional education, including through the introduction of adaptive, practice-oriented and flexible educational programs.
