All -Russian Competition of Robotic Boats to be held at the FEMTC of the Maritime University

From September 23 to 25, the Admiral G.I. Nevelskoy Maritime State University of organizes and holds All -Russian Competition of Robotic Boats in Vladivostok. This year, the event will be held at the Far Eastern Maritime Training Center (DVMTC) (66V, Verkhneportovaya St.).

Schoolchildren, students and graduate students aged 14 to 29 will take part in it. Autonomous shipping is a priority for the development of maritime transport. For this, the qualitative training of future personnel should develop in parallel, which begins with the involvement of young people in technical creativity and, in particular, sea robotics, to which this event is directed.

The teams - participants first need to develop their own autonomous vessel no more than one and a half meters long, and then perform special tasks in conditions close to real in the bowl of the basin complex. Additionally, the technical report must be prepared and the project should get an approval of specialists in the field of autonomous shipping. This year, 10 teams from Vladivostok, St. Petersburg, Kansk, Chelyabinsk and Irkutsk have informed of their participation in the Competition.

The performances of the teams in the pool are scheduled for Sunday September 24, starting from 9:00. The closing ceremony of the event will be held on September 25 in the Assembly Hall of the FEMTC at 12:00.
