Inspectors of the State Marine Control Service of the Far East improved their qualifications

For the first time in the Russian Far East, a hybrid form of training was used in advanced training of port state control inspectors. The Far Eastern Maritime Training Center of the Admiral G.I. Nevelskoy Maritime State University conducted a two-week training course for port control inspectors using the traditional teaching method for students in the University classrooms combined with distance education technology (video conferencing mode) for students located in seaports remote from Vladivostok. Additional opportunities for obtaining systematic information on the subject «Training of inspectors of port state control over ships flying the state flag of the Russian Federation, using computerized accounting» were provided to all students in the ANMSU specialized digital distance learning system KURS. Sea captains Guk Yu.G., Osichansky P.I., Cheptsov N.R., Burkin V.A., Motrich V.N. and other instructors-teachers sea captains Guk Yu.G., Osichansky P.I., Cheptsov N.R., Burkin V.A., Motrich V.N. and other instructors-teachers conducted classes from the University classroom. Thus, the specialists of the service of captains of the Far Eastern seaports of Vanino, Nikolaevsk-on-Amur, Okhotsk, Yuzhno-Kurilsk and others who were at a distance due to the impossibility of leaving for scheduled classes due to adverse weather conditions or restrictive measures during the pandemic were trained.
