The work of the scientist published by the publishing house Springer Singapore

The book by a group of Russian authors «Theoretical Foundations of Radar and Radio Navigation», including the Dean of the ANMSU Navigation Faculty Denis Akmaikin, was published in the Springer Aerospace Technology series by Springer Singapore. Springer Media (until 1999 - Springer-Verlag) is an international publishing company specializing in the publication of academic journals and books in natural sciences (theoretical science, medicine, economics, engineering, architecture, construction and transport). The company is the second largest publishing house in the world after Elsevier in the field of STM (science, technology, medicine). The book is dedicated to the topic «Science and technology in the field of security» and is published in electronic form, in hard and paperbacks with a large number of illustrations. It is a textbook outlining the theoretical foundations of radar and radio navigation systems for air and sea transport. The textbook is the result of many years of lectures on theoretical courses in radar and radio navigation at the Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation and the Admiral G.I. Nevelskoy Maritime State University. Denis Akmaikin - Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Radio Electronics and Radio Communication of the Maritime University, author of over 70 scientific works, including two monographs, five textbooks and teaching aids. His research interests are in the field of electronic navigation, methods for optimizing ship routes and the use of radar information to determine environmental parameters. Congratulations to D.A.
